After your appointment has been scheduled…
You will receive confirmation via email/text.
Thirty to sixty minutes prior to your service, you will receive notice that your technician is on the way, along with their photo and bio so you know who to expect.
All of our technicians are drug-tested, background checked, licensed and undergo continuous training so you can have peace of mind. And we only hire people that share our company’s passion for caring for our community!
When your technician arrives…
Your 5 Star Service will begin with a thorough evaluation (type of access, nature of clog, etc.). If the drain is able to be cleared without special access (i.e. pulling the toilet) or advanced methods (hydro-jetting for example), your technician will collect a small dispatch fee and flat-rate drain unclog fee on completion of service.
If your drain specialist finds that the drain requires special access, an advanced clearing method, or other repair (the drain cannot be cleared by cabling/snaking). You will not be charged for the drain clearing fee at that time.
The technician will clearly and respectfully explain their findings and options for repair. You will be provided with upfront pricing, and no work will be done until you approve. This prevents ‘surprises’ that homeowners often encounter when working with other contractors. Upon approval, work can begin the same day.
If the clogged drain turns out to be a symptom of an issue farther down the line…
If there is significant debris or build-up in the line, hydro-jetting, repair or even a repipe may be required. Most likely you will need a camera inspection to determine the true cause of the issue. This is especially true if you have experienced multiple back-ups in your home. In most cases, we already have a drain camera technician in the area and can complete the inspection the same day.
Your drain specialist will have a mini-jetter handy on their truck. If the issue is in your mainline, our team will dispatch a larger jetter, efficiently and with as little inconvenience to your schedule as possible. Your comfort is always top of mind at Plumbing & A/C Medic!
If significant damage is uncovered, like a root intrusion, our specialists are trained in the latest sewer and drain repair and replacement techniques. For example, trenchless pipelining is a great way to mitigate any disruption to your landscaping or property.
When your Drain Specialist leaves…
When a Plumbing & A/C Medic tech leaves your home, they will leave it in the same condition or better than when they arrived. You will receive a call from a customer care representative to make sure your service was up to, or surpassed, your expectations. You will also receive a text or email invitation to share your experience on one of our online profiles.
